Meetup & Fuel Up
Find your group at the Powell St. BART entrance on Market & Powell. We'll be checking guests in against the Luma list, handing out name tags, and pointing you toward the best coffee on the block.
- Grab your own coffee & breakfast at Bluestone Lane, Starbucks, or Blue Bottle (all <2 min walk)
- Restrooms available inside Westfield and Powell BART before boarding
- Best light of the day, bring your phone fully charged
All Aboard: Bus Departs
Board the reserved coach at Powell St. We head north over the Golden Gate toward Sonoma.
- Reserved coach with WiFi, USB charging, and onboard restroom
- Welcome briefing, group introductions, and an icebreaker round
- Curated playlist + light snacks and water for the ride
Stop 1: Robledo Family Winery
A family-run winery. The Robledo family walked us through their story and poured a flight of estate wines on the patio.
- Guided flight: 4 estate wines including their signature Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet
- Story of three generations of winemaking and the family's journey
- Photo-friendly patio and barrel room. Great group shot opportunity
Sonoma Square: Lunch on the Go
A quick break in California's oldest plaza to grab lunch for the road. Wineries don't serve full meals, so this is your window to fuel up before Healdsburg. Pick a spot, grab a sandwich, and meet back at the bus.
- Recommended: Sonoma Cheese Factory, Basque Boulangerie Café, or Sunflower Caffé
- Quick browse of the historic Mission and shops around the plaza
- Eat on the bus. We depart sharp at 12:30 PM for the 45-minute drive
Stop 2: Ridge Vineyards
A seated tasting at Ridge's Lytton Springs estate in Healdsburg, with views over the vineyards.
- Seated flight of single-vineyard Zinfandels and a flagship Bordeaux blend
- Short walk through the certified-organic vineyard with the host
- Bottle purchases and shipping arrangements available on site
Golden Gate Bridge Photo Stop
On our way back south, we pull over at North Vista Point, the iconic angle on the bridge with the SF skyline behind it. We'll do a full group photo here and a few smaller candids before continuing to the East Bay.

- Best light of the day. Bring your phone fully charged
- Quick restroom break available at the vista point
Arrival in Oakland & Group BBQ
We pull into a private backyard in Oakland for the BBQ finale, the part of the day everyone remembers. Grills going, drinks open, lawn games out. Stay as long as you'd like; the bus service ends here.
- Grilled mains, vegetarian options, sides, and drinks included
- Lawn games, music, and a fire pit as the evening cools down
- Jack London Square BART is a 5-minute walk for the ride back to SF
Important Logistics
Meals Are On You
Breakfast and lunch aren't included. Grab breakfast near the meetup and lunch at Sonoma Plaza.
Return Trip
The bus concludes its scheduled service at the BBQ in Oakland at 5:00 PM. A return ride to San Francisco may be available depending on the day. We'll confirm closer to the event, so please plan as if you're making your own way back.
Getting Home
If you're heading back to San Francisco on your own, the Jack London Square BART station is a 5-minute walk from the BBQ, with a direct 15-minute ride into the city.
